children of our world – initiative for children in misery

Dear visitor,

this is the website of the German organization “kinder unserer welt – initiative für notleidende kinder e.v.” (children of our world – initiative for children in misery). The organization was founded in 1987 by German families with children adopted from Ethiopia. The organization pursues two main goals: providing a network for parents who adopted children from foreign countries (focussing on families with children from Ethiopia and South Africa) and running several children welfare projects in Ethiopia and South Africa.

The pictures on our website mainly include images of people associated with our projects in Ethiopia and South Africa, either beneficiaries of the projects or people connected with our partner organizations in the respective countries. All images are with permission of the person represented and have been chosen with great concern in protecting the dignity of and with respect to the pictured person.

The content of our website has been compiled with meticulous care and to the best of our knowledge. However, we cannot assume any liability for the up-to-dateness, completeness or accuracy of any of the pages. Thank you for your interest in “kinder unserer welt”.
